As a huge fan of BBC’s ‘Desert Island Discs’ I thought the format would be a great way to interview famous creatives. Especially as I was so fascinated by the connection of creativity and music. With no previous experience as a journalist it was a big personal challenge to get the project started but I was so lucky to be supported by Jungle Studios and their excellent sound engineer Jim Griffin. After landing some ad land legends to interview, The Creative Jukebox was picked up by The Drum.
I wrote and produced each podcast as well as writing a feature length article which was published monthly in The Drum magazine. I even interviewed Robin Wight as part of Ad Week on top of double decker bus as it careened around Piccadilly Circus. What a trip!
